When selecting an outdoor sauna barrel, comfort is essential. The barrel's size and the design of the bench and backrest play a significant role. Smaller barrels might come at a lower price but often at the cost of reduced door height, less comfortable seating, and cramped headroom. ERGO Series barrels, with a generous 6'5" interior height, allow for ergonomically contoured seating and backrests with a wide arc for optimal lumbar support. The Model E7G features a bronzed, full-height tempered glass front, including sidelight windows and a matching glass door, creating a stunning, open front wall. The ERGO Series also boasts thicker-than-average Thermo-Aspen benches and backrests, designed for both comfort and longevity.

Don’t be misled by its simple design—the ERGO-Series barrels are full of innovative features. Stainless steel barrel bands (1-7/8” wide and 1/8” thick) tightly compress the staves, creating a solid, secure structure. A watertight DIY shingle kit with side-mounted drip edges ensures proper water management, while dual floor drains keep water from pooling, even if the barrel shifts. One drain is conveniently placed under the heater for water-tossing, and the other near the door handles cold plunge or pool water.

Illumination – Lighting Inside and Out
To enhance the sauna experience, SaunaLife includes low-voltage, waterproof LED lighting. The Wi-Fi-enabled white LED system allows you to adjust the lighting before stepping inside, and a remote control offers easy on/off and dimming functions. These dotless LED fixtures create a smooth, even glow and are heat and water certified (IP67).
